Tarun Chugh Questions Bhagwant Mann Government’s Inaction Over Horrific Amritsar Fire Incident
Chandigarh 28 May ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh expressed deep grief over the horrific fire incident in Amritsar’s Rambagh area and raised serious questions over the functioning of the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab Government. In posts shared on X, Chugh said the tragedy appeared to be a result of administrative failure and governmental negligence rather than merely an unfortunate accident.
He questioned whether timely fire safety measures, proper monitoring, and an effective emergency response system could have reduced the scale of destruction. Expressing solidarity with the affected families, Chugh prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and demanded a high-level probe into the incident along with strict action against those responsible.
