ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਨਵੇਂ ਚੁਣੇ ਗਏ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਹਰਮੇਸ਼ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਕੁਰਦੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਕੋਲ ਅਪਾਹਜ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਉਠਾਉਣਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਰਚਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਪਾਹਜ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਐਕਟ, 2016 ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਯਤਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
