Champion Cricket Academy Thrashes Cricket Bash Academy U-14 by 156 Runs
Chandigarh 11 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Champion Cricket Academy produced a dominant all-round performance to register a massive 156-run victory over Cricket Bash Academy U-14 in a Junior Premier League U-13 match. Batting first after winning the toss, Champion Cricket Academy posted an imposing 232/2 in their allotted 20 overs. Leading from the front, skipper Verma Ji smashed a brilliant 103 off 62 balls, studded with 14 fours and two sixes. He was well supported by Prabhnoor Singh, who remained unbeaten on 99 from just 52 deliveries, striking 17 boundaries. Their outstanding batting display put the opposition under pressure from the very beginning.
In reply, Cricket Bash Academy U-14 struggled against a disciplined bowling attack and could manage only 76/8 in 20 overs. Ronakveer Waraich was the top scorer with 24 runs, while the rest of the batting lineup failed to build meaningful partnerships. Champion Cricket Academy’s bowlers maintained control throughout the innings. Verma Ji completed an excellent all-round performance by claiming two wickets for just six runs in his two overs. Nav Pabla and Utkarsh Dangwal also chipped in with crucial wickets, while the fielders supported well with sharp run-outs and catches.
