Congress to bring people’s manifesto in Punjab : Dr Amar Singh Chandigarh 21 August 21: The Punjab Congress has begun preparations for the 2027 Assembly elections, with its newly constituted Manifesto Committee deciding to make the party’s election manifesto a “people’s manifesto” by seeking suggestions and demands from all sections of society across the state. The first meeting of the Manifesto Committee appointed by the All India Congress Committee was held here today. The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Committee Dr Amar Singh, former Punjab minister Pargat Singh, Amritsar MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla and Hardial Singh Kambhoj. The committee held detailed discussions on the process of preparing the manifesto and emphasised that it should be a genuine reflection of the aspirations, concerns and priorities of Punjabis rather than being formulated solely within the party organisation. ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 21 ਅਗਸਤ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਹਲੋ ਮਾਜਰਾ, ਵਾਰਡ ਨੰਬਰ 20 ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਦੀ ਬਦਹਾਲੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਨਗਰ ਨਿਗਮ ਦੇ ਦਾਅਵਿਆਂ ’ਤੇ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਕਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਮਕਾਨ ਨੰਬਰ 297 ਅਤੇ 298 ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੰਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਜਮ੍ਹਾ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰੀ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨੀ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਹਾਲਾਤ ਇਹ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਰਸਤੇ ਘੱਟ ਅਤੇ ਗੰਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਝੀਲਾਂ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਫ਼ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੂਸ਼ਿਤ ਪਾਣੀ ਘਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਜਮ੍ਹਾ ਹੈ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸੇ ਗੰਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲੰਘ ਕੇ ਆਉਣ-ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਮਜਬੂਰ ਹੋਣਾ ਪੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਪਾਣੀ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਰਹਿਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਬਦਬੂ, ਮੱਛਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੈਦਾਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਫੈਲਣ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਤਰਾ ਵੀ ਵਧ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਥਾਨਕ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਆਖ਼ਿਰ ਨਗਰ ਨਿਗਮ ਦੀ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਇੰਨੀ ਬਦਹਾਲ ਕਿਉਂ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ? ਜੇਕਰ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਲਾਈਨ ਜਾਮ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਨਿਯਮਤ ਸਫ਼ਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਖਭਾਲ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ? ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਪਾਣੀ ਕੱਢਣ ਦੀ ਆਰਜ਼ੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਸਗੋਂ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਦੀ ਜੜ੍ਹ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਪੱਕਾ ਹੱਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਵਰਕਰ ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ, ਪ੍ਰਵੀਣ ਖੱਤਰੀ, ਦਿਨੇਸ਼ ਯਾਦਵ, ਜਤਿਨ ਮਿਸ਼ਰਾ, ਮੋਹਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਨਗਰ ਨਿਗਮ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਤੋਂ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦਾ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਲੈਂਦਿਆਂ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਮੌਕੇ ’ਤੇ ਭੇਜੀ ਜਾਵੇ। ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਲਾਈਨ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰਵਾ ਕੇ ਮਸ਼ੀਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਸਫ਼ਾਈ, ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਨਿਕਾਸੀ ਦੀ ਢੁੱਕਵੀਂ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਅਤੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਣੀ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਪੱਕਾ ਹੱਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹੈਲੋ ਮਾਜਰਾ ਦੀ ਜਨਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਾਫ਼-ਸੁਥਰੀਆਂ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਮਿਲਣਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੱਕ ਹੈ। ਨਗਰ ਨਿਗਮ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਕਾਗਜ਼ਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਸੀਮਿਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ, ਸਗੋਂ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਪੱਧਰ ’ਤੇ ਵੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਨਤਾ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਹੈ—ਪਾਣੀ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਰਾਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਦਾ ਪੱਕਾ ਹੱਲ।
