Balbir Singh Sidhu Slams Punjab Government Over Power Crisis and Failure to Supply Canal Water to Tail-End Areas Punjab Government Must Immediately Resolve the Problems of Farmers and the General Public : Balbir Singh Sidhu S.A.S.Nagar 30 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Former Punjab Health Minister and senior Congress leader Balbir Singh Sidhu launched a sharp attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government over the severe power and irrigation crisis in the state, alleging that its false claims and administrative failures have pushed farmers and ordinary citizens into extreme hardship. He said that during the crucial paddy transplantation season, farmers are receiving neither adequate canal water nor sufficient electricity, putting thousands of acres of crops at risk of drying up. Sidhu stated that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has repeatedly claimed that canal water has been ensured up to the tail-end areas of the irrigation network. Chandigarh's International Table Tennis Coach Pulkit Arora Shortlisted for Head Coach of Namibia National Team  Chandigarh 30 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : In a proud moment for Indian table tennis, Pulkit Arora, Founder and Head Coach of Positive Table Tennis Academy, has been shortlisted for the position of Head Coach of the Namibia National Table Tennis Team.  The Namibia Table Tennis Association (NTTA) officially informed Pulkit Arora via email that he has been shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process. As part of this stage, the association has requested him to submit his expected salary, coaching vision, and a strategic two-year development plan for the Namibia national team.   Pulkit Arora is an ITTF Level-2 Certified Coach and has been coaching table tennis players for the past 14 years. Sargun Arora won one silver and two bronze medals at the Ceylon Masters International Badminton Championships Chandigarh 30 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Ceylon Masters Badminton Championship was held in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The high-level four-day tournament, held at the Air Sports Complex Rajagiriya Badminton Courts, saw participation from 500 players from 11 different countries – India, China, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Australia, USA, UAE, Norway, Canada, France, Switzerland and Chinese Taipei. Sargun Arora of Chandigarh won a silver medal in the 60+ Mixed Doubles with her partner Praveen Taneja, a bronze medal in the WD 60+ with Sumitra and a bronze medal in the 55+ Mixed Doubles with Subhash. ਜੀਐਮਸੀਐਚ-32 ਦੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਜੌਇੰਟ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਅਤੁਲ ਨਿਵ੍ਰੁੱਤਿਰਾਓ ਧਾਕਣੇ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 30 ਜੂਨ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਗਵਰਨਮੈਂਟ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਕਾਲਜ ਅਤੇ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ (ਜੀਐਮਸੀਐਚ-32), ਸੈਕਟਰ-32, ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿਖੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਜੌਇੰਟ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਅਤੁਲ ਨਿਵ੍ਰੁੱਤਿਰਾਓ ਧਾਕਣੇ ਦਾ ਜੀਐਮਸੀਐਚ-32 ਕਾਂਟ੍ਰੈਕਟ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ 589/2009 ਵੱਲੋਂ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਗੁਲਦਸਤਾ ਭੇਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਤਹਿ ਦਿਲੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਰਮਜੋਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਂਸਚਿਵ ਤਾਲਿਬ ਹੁਸੈਨ, ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਉਪ-ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਉਪ-ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਭੂਪਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਖਜ਼ਾਨਚੀ ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਕਮੇਟੀ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ ਸੰਜੀਵ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਕਰਮਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਕਮਲਦੀਪ ਨੈਨ, ਰਾਜਕੁਮਾਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਟੋਫਰ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਸਾਥੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ। ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜੌਇੰਟ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੰਬੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੰਬਿਤ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭਲਾਈ (ਵੈਲਫੇਅਰ) ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਧਾਕਣੇ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਲ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਾਂਟ੍ਰੈਕਟ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਜਾਇਜ਼ ਹੱਕ, ਭਲਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਧਾਕਣੇ ਨੇ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਨਿਧੀ ਮੰਡਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿਵਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਜਾਇਜ਼ ਮੰਗਾਂ ...
