250 Saplings Planted in Sector 48 Chandigarh 27 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Reaffirming the commitment to environmental conservation and a greener future, the month-long Tree Plantation Mega Campaign jointly organized by Lok Vikas Manch and Bharat Vikas Parishad, Central Zone concluded successfully on the birthday of former Chandigarh Mayor Davesh Moudgil. During the campaign, the target of planting 1,500 saplings within one month was accomplished.
