Chandigarh 6 February ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Author Ashok Ghai unveiled his three books – "Bhav-Vividh," "Mauj-e-Ehsaas," and "Man Parchhauniyan" – at Tagore Theatre in Sector 18 on Friday. These are Ashok Ghai's first three works, and he is quite excited about their launch. Inspired by this, he is now ready to write more books. The books were released by Dr. Kuldeep Agnihotri, Executive Chairman of the Haryana Sahitya Evam Sanskriti Academy and former Vice-Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh Central University. Retired Brigadier Subhash Chandra, recipient of the Sena Medal and Vishisht Seva Medal, was the special guest on the occasion. These books by the graduate engineer are part of a writing challenge he undertook at this age, which he has completed through years of tireless effort.
The book "Bhav Vividh," a collection of 5 titles – Swabhavik, Kuchh Yaadein Kuchh Anubhav, Bhav Prabandhan, Rashtra Bhav, and Utsah aur Ullah (Motivational Poetry) – includes couplets, verses, and national poetry. The book "Mauj-e-Ehsaas" features poetry, and the third book, "Man Parchhauniyan," contains ghazals and poetry.
Speaking to reporters, author Ashok Ghai said that in these books, he has tried to share his experiences with readers through Hindi and Punjabi poems and inspirational quotes. Ashok Ghai said that dedication, concentration, hard work, and emotions have been integral parts of his nature. He said that he has presented himself to the world in many roles, and he has successfully and diligently fulfilled each role with complete proficiency and dedication, whether it was in business, as a student or teacher, or representing a social service organization. However, every situation was only acceptable to him as long as dedication and proficiency were maintained. When things started to bother him, his loyalty began to waver.
Ashok Ghai, while giving a brief overview of the books, explained that 'Mauj-e-Ehsaas' is a poetic expression of the mental processes involved in expected human behavior such as loyalty, nature, beauty, and friendship. 'Bhav Vividh' is a poetic account of true nature, emotions in various situations, experiences, and some events, as well as national sentiment. 'Man Parchhauniyan' presents the pain emanating from the deepest wounds of the heart in the Punjabi language. For the convenience of those who cannot read Punjabi, it is also written in the Hindi script.
He further explained that professionally, he is an engineer and has also served as a respected teacher during his life. After obtaining a degree from a prestigious engineering college, Punjab Engineering College, he embarked on his life's journey according to his nature. His schooling was also from a respected school, DAV School Sector 8, where he had the opportunity to emerge as a successful speaker, a skill he mastered exceptionally well. At the age of 12, he participated in a speech competition for the first time and won an award. He represented the school in numerous competitions and successfully demonstrated the school's dominance on many occasions. The school also honored him as the best speaker, and it was during this time that he felt a sense of self-confidence and realized his ability to perform on stage. Listening to and delivering these presentations and numerous speeches, he also gained experience in various forms of poetry and couplets.
Even in engineering college, alongside his professional education, he pursued his passion for writing. Expressing his emotional dreams, he unknowingly wrote some verses and poems. At that time, it was perhaps scattered in fragments, but today, this offering is the result of those early days, which he is now presenting to everyone.
He said that writing has now become a passion for him. The overwhelming support he has received from readers for these books has infused him with new energy. This has inspired them to continue writing in the future. Their writing work will now continue, and they will soon present their new work to readers.
