Chandigarh 14 March ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Under the guidance of Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Sri Amritsar Sahib, under the able leadership of Secretary Education Engineer Sukhminder Singh, the Directorate of Education, Bahadurgarh (Patiala) is making a valuable contribution to religious, social and educational activities such as organizing religious examinations, quiz competitions, international conferences/seminars etc., while absolutely free training is being provided for the preparation of examinations like UPSC, PPSC and PCS Judicial. Under this series, the Directorate of Education, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Bahadurgarh, Patiala has organized a job fair for the students of Secretary Education Engineer Sukhminder Singh. Due to the efforts of Sukhminder Singh, a special effort was made to provide employment opportunities to the students of the colleges running under the management of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee by establishing placement cells in the colleges and appointing their placement officers. 

Under which, in order to prepare the students for the interview, the services of Nandi Foundation, Mahindra Pride and other experts were taken and workshops were organized in the colleges and the students were made aware of resume writing, interview preparation through motivation lectures and also to increase their employability. Under this, in connection with the renowned companies of the country, the third mega placement drive was organized at the Chandigarh office of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Gurdwara Sri Kalgidhar Niwas, Sector 27, in which 26 Nampur companies from the banking and financial sector, IT sector, manufacturing / production sector reached for the selection of students. During the mega placement drive, Raghujit Singh Virk, Senior Vice President of the Shiromani Committee, specially attended and reviewed the arrangements. Virk, while praising the participation of various renowned companies in the Mega Placement Drive, the smooth arrangements of the placement drive and the enthusiasm of the students, said that this is a golden opportunity for the students studying in the colleges running under the management of the Shiromani Committee to pursue higher education as well as to get employment.
On this occasion, Secretary Education Eng. Sukhminder Singh said that this placement drive has been organized jointly by the colleges of the Shiromani Committee for the third time, which is a golden opportunity for the students to get a job. He said that there was great enthusiasm among the students during the Mega Placement Drive. He said that during the last 2 years, around 900 students were selected by renowned companies during the organization of similar Mega Placement Drive.

The coordinator of the Mega Placement Drive, Principal Dr. Sarabjit Kaur said that around 800 students including 70 placement officers and teachers from 30 colleges of the SGPC have participated in the mega placement drive. Principal Dr. Rajinder Kaur, Deputy Director Nishchay Administrative Services Training Center Chandigarh and Nishchay Academy for Judicial Services Patiala, Principal Dr. Ramanjit Kaur, Principal Dr. Karambir Singh, Principal Dr. Sarabjit Kaur, Principal Dr. Harmandeep Singh Gill, Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira, Principal Dr. Rajwinder Kaur, Principal Dr. Satinder Kaur Mann, Dr. Saurav Gupta, Dr. Vandana Goyal, Dr. Sunil Kumar, Dr. Gurpreet Singh, S. Prabhjot Singh had a special contribution for the success of the mega placement drive.
