Chandigarh 03 April ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Today, on the holy occasion of Good Friday, Christ the King Church in Naya Gaon organized a special prayer service. Observing a fast, the entire congregation gathered in the church to offer prayers from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. This day commemorates the sacrifice of Lord Jesus Christ, who offered Himself on the cross for the salvation of mankind, the forgiveness of sins, and deliverance. This day conveys to us a message of love, compassion, forgiveness, peace, and harmony.
Speaking on this occasion, Lawrence Malik stated that this day brings forgiveness and deliverance from sins for all of humanity. He emphasized that this day imparts a message of peace and goodwill, urging everyone to live together in unity and to pray for a brighter future for their city.
