Kamal Sisodiya Celebrates Her Birthday with Differently-Abled and Underprivileged Sections
Chandigarh 5 May ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Kamal Sisodiya, presently serving as Commandant, 13th Battalion CRPF, set a remarkable example of compassion and social responsibility by celebrating her birthday with differently-abled individuals, elderly citizens, and underprivileged sections of society. On this occasion, she inspired them to remain cheerful in every situation, stay grateful to God, and continue progressing on the path of duty.
The event was held at Gulati Bhawan, Sector 33, Chandigarh, where essential assistive aids were distributed to those in need. These included wheelchairs, artificial legs for individuals with mobility challenges, AI-powered smart glasses for the visually impaired, and hearing aids for those with hearing disabilities, along with the distribution of food supplies. The initiative aimed at enhancing mobility, self-reliance, dignity, and overall quality of life of the beneficiaries.
Sisodiya has been consistently following the tradition of celebrating her birthday every year with the weaker and needy sections of society. She is also a sensitive author and a dedicated social worker, continuously engaged in humanitarian efforts and serving as a source of inspiration for many.Her work extends beyond any one region. She has actively contributed to the welfare of differently-abled individuals across various parts of the country, including the North Eastern states, Jammu & Kashmir, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh. With deep empathy, she has worked towards understanding their challenges and has made significant efforts to empower them through skill development and self-reliance initiatives.
This initiative was carried out with the support of “Tera Tera Foundation,” whose members actively participated in organizing the event and contributed significantly to its success.Speaking on the occasion, Sisodiya shared that her personal experiences have made her more sensitive toward the challenges faced by differently-abled individuals.
