Preparations for the 12th World Punjabi Conference have begun in earnest
Chandigarh 22 May ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The preparations for the 12th World Punjabi Conference have been started in earnest by the Jagat Punjabi Sabha. In connection with these preparations, today Gian Singh Kang was appointed as the President (Public Relations) of the 12th World Punjabi Conference, while Tajinder Singh Cheema was nominated as the Assistant Public Relations.
It is worth mentioning that Gian Singh Kang has been actively associated with the World Punjabi Conferences being held in Canada since 2009 and has previously served as the President in many conferences. His long experience and dedication towards Punjabi language and culture will prove to be very useful for the conference.
Similarly, Tajinder Singh Cheema has also been associated with the World Punjabi Conferences being held in Canada since the beginning. He has been appointed as the Assistant Public Relations of the 12th World Punjabi Conference.
The appointment of Kang and Cheema is giving immense encouragement to all the members and associates of the conference. This information was given by Santokh Singh Sandhu, President OFC. On this occasion, Ajaib Singh Chatha, Chairman World Punjabi Conference also honored Mr. Gian Singh Kang with a siropa and a garland.
