Hundreds of Workers Join Bharatiya Janata Party; Aam Aadmi Party Leaders Embrace BJP
Chandigarh 14 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : At a membership induction programme held today in the presence of Chandigarh BJP President Jitendra Pal Malhotra, several prominent leaders and workers associated with the Aam Aadmi Party joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. On this occasion, Aam Aadmi Party Purvanchal Cell General Secretary Virendra Viru, Kulwinder Yadav, along with several office-bearers and workers, joined the BJP with their supporters. In addition, Ramdravasi, Nishant Kumar, Shakti Kumar, Vikas Kumar Ansari, Dalip Kumar, Kuldeep Kumar, and Ramsurat Singh also announced their decision to leave the Aam Aadmi Party and become part of the BJP family. Furthermore, Sunil Sharma, who has earned a unique identity by portraying the character of Ravana for many years during the Sector-17 Ramlila performances, also joined the Bharatiya Janata Party along with his associates.
Chandigarh BJP President Jitendra Pal Malhotra welcomed all the new members by presenting them with the party stole. He stated that inspired by the development initiatives, good governance, and nationalist ideology of the Bharatiya Janata Party under the leadership of the Prime Minister, people from various political parties and social organisations are joining the BJP in large numbers.He further said that the inclusion of new workers would strengthen the organisation and expand the BJP’s support base down to the booth level. On this occasion, all newly inducted members pledged to work towards spreading the party’s ideology among the masses and contributing to the vision of a Developed India. A large number of BJP office-bearers, workers, and supporters were present at the programme.
