Chandigarh 20 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) today said attempts by the ruling Aam Admi Party (AAP) to spread a false narrative regarding Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s deposition at Sri Akal Takht Sahib and its attempt to stage dharnas against the Shiromani Akali Dal had boomeranged. Addressing a press conference here, SAD Chief Spokesman Arshdeep Singh Kler said AAP had attempted to gherao and stage protest at district headquarters of the SAD but its attempts failed miserably as they could not muster support of requisite numbers despite help from the police force. He said the videos emerging from different districts of the state had made it clear that only a meagre number of AAP workers assembled on the call of the party making the entire attempt a flop show. Nissan registers third consecutive month of growth in domestic sales
Chandigarh 2 June (Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal) : Nissan Motor India today announced its sales performance for May 2026. The company's domestic sales in May have witnessed a robust growth of 118% on a year-on-year basis. Last month, the company sold a total of 2,948 units in the domestic market. During the same period, 5,023 cars were exported, taking the company's total sales to 7,971 units. Nissan Motor India has registered a third consecutive month of growth in domestic sales on a year-on-year basis. This has strengthened the company's position in the Indian market.
