Paras Health Panchkula Successfully Treats Chronic Diabetic Foot Ulcers, Reducing Risk of Amputation

Panchkula 16 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Paras Health Panchkula has successfully treated four patients suffering from chronic diabetic foot ulcers using an advanced pressure-relief surgical procedure, significantly reducing their risk of amputation and improving their mobility and quality of life.

Diabetic foot ulcers are among the leading causes of lower-limb amputations in people living with diabetes. The four patients treated at Paras Health Panchkula had been struggling with persistent or recurring ulcers beneath the big toe despite undergoing prolonged conventional treatment. Following the advanced intervention, all patients achieved complete wound healing, and none experienced a recurrence during the follow-up period. In addition to wound closure, the patients reported greater comfort while walking and improved mobility, highlighting the effectiveness of the procedure in addressing one of the most challenging complications of diabetes.
