Punjab Mandi Board Field Employees Union Meets Chairman Harchand Singh Bursat, Submits Memorandum of Demands
S.A.S. Nagar 10 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Representatives of Punjab Mandi Board Field Employees Union met Punjab Mandi Board Chairman Harchand Singh Bursat today at the Mandi Board Head Office. During this, the organization submitted a memorandum of demand regarding the demands of the employees to the Chairman Mandi Board and various issues were discussed in detail. During this, Bursat assured the representatives of the union that their demands will be resolved after discussion.
On this occasion, the representatives of the union met the Civil, Electricity, Public Health, Market Committees and DMO. Regularization of raw employees working in offices, restoration of old pension of employees recruited after 2004, outsource and public health (water tanks) raw employees on contract in Punjab Mandi Board, among other demands were brought to the notice of Bursat.
During this, Chairman Harchand Singh Bursat listened carefully to the representatives of all the organizations and assured them that all the issues and demands of the employees will be considered with full seriousness and compassion and they will be resolved. He said that the Punjab Government is committed to the welfare of the employees and the resolution of their demands. Bursat said that employees are the backbone of any organization and ensuring their welfare is the top priority of the government. He said that all possible efforts will be made to protect the interests of the employees.
