District Rotaract Organization 3080 Organizes Annual District Conference
Chandigarh 11 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The District Rotaract Organization 3080 successfully organized its Annual District Conference at SD College, Chandigarh. The conference brought together young leaders and social changemakers from five states and the Union Territory of Chandigarh. More than 30 Rotaract Clubs participated in the event, with members presenting their notable contributions in the fields of community service, social welfare, youth development, environmental sustainability, education, and public awareness during their tenure.
The conference served as an important platform for various clubs to showcase their achievements, innovative service projects, and the positive impact they created in society throughout the Rotary year. Through detailed presentations, Rotaractors shared information about various initiatives undertaken to address social challenges and improve the lives of people at the grassroots level. Several clubs were recognized and awarded for their outstanding contributions and achievements during the year. These awards acknowledged excellence in service, leadership, project implementation, and overall community impact. A special segment of the conference was dedicated to honoring distinguished social workers and community leaders from the Tricity region. The District Rotaract Organization 3080 felicitated them in recognition of their dedicated efforts toward social development, humanitarian service, and the upliftment of underprivileged sections of society.
On this occasion, District Rotaract Representative (DRR) Rotaractor Ritik Nagpal said that it is the responsibility of Rotaractors to appreciate and recognize the efforts of all individuals and organizations working continuously for the welfare of society, including Rotaract itself. He added that the District Conference was organized not only to celebrate achievements but also to acknowledge impactful service and inspire greater participation in community welfare activities. The conference concluded on a highly positive note. Reiterating the Rotaract principle of “Service Above Self,” young leaders were encouraged to continue working towards creating meaningful and lasting change in society.
