Inauguration of Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Advanced Analytical Techniques” from 17th to 21st August, 2026 at NIPER SAS Nagar
S.A.S.Nagar 17 August ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), S.A.S. Nagar, is organizing the five-days Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Advanced Analytical Techniques” from 17th to 21stAugust 2026 for faculty members of Government Polytechnic Colleges of Punjab. The programme is being organized in collaboration with the Department of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Government of Punjab. The objective of this programme is to strengthen the technical knowledge and practical understanding of advanced analytical techniques among faculty members. The programme aims to bridge the gap between theoretical understanding and practical applications and to enhance the teaching capabilities of participants. A total of 15 faculty members from Government Polytechnic Colleges across Punjab are participating in the programme.
Today the inaugural function was organized. Moneesh Kumar IAS, Director, Department of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Punjab was the Guest of Honor for the occasion. He highlighted on learning of the basics and imparting same to students in simplified manner as the main objective of the programme. He also thanked Director NIPER for the initiative of FDP. Prof. Dulal Panda, Director, NIPER in his address cited examples of food adulteration detection and drug impurities and testing by high end instruments and he also put an emphasis on learning techniques and imparting the same to students.
Prof. I.P. Singh, Associate Dean NIPER MOHALI welcomed all delegates and emphasized upon importance of Faculty Development Programme and urged all the participants to learn heartfully and get the hands-on training programme to clarify the doubts. Prof. S. K. Guchhait Course coordinator briefly outlined programme and schedule of FDP. Registrar, Wing Commander (Retd.) PJP Singh Waraich gave vote of thanks. The inaugural function was concluded successfully.
