SAD to start Statewide Yatra led by party president Sukhbir Singh Badal on November 10 from Sri Damdama Sahib (Yatra will be held in three phases with the second and third phases being launched from Sri Anandpur Sahib and Sri Akal Takht Sahib respectively) Chandigarh 17 October ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has decided to organize a Statewide Yatra covering all assembly constituencies which will start from Sri Damdama Sahib in Talwandi Sabo on November 10. The Yatra, which will be led by party president Sukhbir Singh Badal, will be conducted in three phases with the first phase being held from November 10 to 22. The second phase of the Yatra will be launched from Sri Anandpur Sahib and the third phase from Sri Akal Takht Sahib. ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਜਿਸ ਤਰਾਂ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ 'ਤੇ ਸਿਰਫ ਬਦਨਾਮੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਚੈਲੰਜ ਵਾਂਗ ਲੈਣ : ਰਵੀਇੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 30 ਸਤੰਬਰ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਸਿੱਖ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਵਾਨ ਆਗੂ, ਸਾਬਕਾ ਸਪੀਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਪੁਨਰ-ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਦੇ ਸਰਪ੍ਰਸਤ ਸ ਰਵੀਇੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਲਿਖਤੀ ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਬਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਫੁੱਟਬਾਲ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਮਝਕੇ ਕਦੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਇਕ ਦੂਜੇ 'ਤੇ ਗੋਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਉਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਫ ਝਲਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਦੀ ਕਿੰਨੀ ਘਾਟ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਹ ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਸਰਹੱਦੀ ਪੱਟੀ 'ਤੇ ਕਾਬਜ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਮੁਲਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਡਰੋਨਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰਾਂ ਫੇਲ੍ਹ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਮੁਕਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਰੈਲੀਆਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਉੱਥੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਯੁੱਧ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਅਸਰ ਨਹੀ ਵਿਖਾ ਸਕਿਆ ਕਿ ਜਮੀਨੀ ਪੱਧਰ 'ਤੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਖਤਮ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੋਵੇ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਯਤਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ੇੜੀ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਸਿਰਫ ਬਦਨਾਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੀ ਜਾਪਦਾ ਹੈ।  ਰਵੀਇੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਰਾਜਨੀ...

‘Swachhata Hi Seva 2026’: PIB & CBC Chandigarh Organise Plantation Drive To Dedicate ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ Safai Mitras Felicitated for Their Contribution During Special Campaign 6.0 Chandigarh 30 September ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : As part of the ongoing ‘Swachhata Hi Seva 2026’ campaign, the Press Information Bureau (PIB) and the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Chandigarh, today organised a plantation drive under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative at Kendriya Sadan, Sector-9, Chandigarh. Six saplings were planted in the lawns of Kendriya Sadan with active participation of officers and staff members. The drive aimed to reinforce the message of environmental conservation, cleanliness and collective responsibility. During the program, Dr. Mohit Walia provided important information about heart disease, its early symptoms, and preventive measures. He also interacted with patients and answered their questions about heart health. Dr. Walia said that a healthy heart is the key to a healthy life. He advised people to exercise regularly or walk briskly for at least 30 minutes daily. Adopt a heart-healthy diet, consume less salt and less oil, and include fruits, vegetables, and whole grains in their diet. Avoid smoking, tobacco, and excessive alcohol consumption. ਵੜਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਵੋਟਰ ਬਣਨ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ SIR ਦੌਰਾਨ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢਣ 'ਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਦਖ਼ਲ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਨਵੇਂ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਤਾ ਸਪਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਪੱਤਰ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 29 ਸਤੰਬਰ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਤੋਂ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਮਿਤ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਤਰ ਲਿਖ ਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਦਾ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਵੋਟ ਪਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਸੁਧਾਈ (SIR) ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵੋਟਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਰਜਿਸਟ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਪਸ ਮੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਵੜਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਹਲਕਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ 18 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਹੈ, ਨੇ ਫ਼ਾਰਮ 6 ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਵੋਟਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਮ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਪ੍ਰੰਤੂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਇਹ ਸਾਬਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਜਾਂ ਦਾਦਾ-ਦਾਦੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਦੋ ਦਹਾਕਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸਮਾਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੋਈ ਪਿਛਲੀ ਸੁਧਾਈ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵੋਟਰ ਸੂਚੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਜ ਸਨ ਜਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ। ਵੜਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਅਮਿਤ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਖ਼ਲ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਮੰ...
