He also demanded Rs 50 crore to Rs 70 crores annual research grant for the Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana to improve the research facilities for better agriculture. The Ludhiana MP made a strong case for providing debt relief to the small and marginal farmers through one time settlement by waiving off their interests. Chandigarh 29 January ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : In an impressive display of athletic prowess, Kundan International school has outshone its peers at the recently concluded State Level Sports Competition. The school's talented students brought home a total of 7 gold medals and 1 silver medal, cementing their position as a force to be reckoned with in the world of sports. The star of the show was undoubtedly Mst Aarav Sharma , who was adjudged the Best Athlete of the City. This talented young athlete won three races, securing top position in the 800 ,1500 and 5000 mts race( U - 19 ). Megha Verma won two gold medals in the 800 and 1500 mts race( U- 19 ). Anhad Bir Singh outshone in Shotput and Discus Throw by bagging two gold medals( U - 14 ). Hardik won a silver medal in Long Jump ( U -19 ) The school's triumph is a testament to its commitment to holistic development, which emphasizes the importance of nurturing both body and mind. School has consistently encouraged its students to explore their passion and interests beyond academics, and this achievement is a shining example of the success of this approach.
