He also demanded Rs 50 crore to Rs 70 crores annual research grant for the Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana to improve the research facilities for better agriculture. The Ludhiana MP made a strong case for providing debt relief to the small and marginal farmers through one time settlement by waiving off their interests. Held at Paras Health Panchkula, the launch event drew the presence of top medical experts, dignitaries, and senior healthcare professionals, reinforcing the hospital’s commitment to accessible, world-class medical technology. The occasion was graced by Chief Guest Ajay Chagti, IAS, Secretary – Health, Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. Applauding the initiative, he stated, “It is heartening to witness such cutting-edge technology being introduced in Panchkula. Robotic-assisted surgery is no longer a distant future; it is today’s reality, and Paras Health has taken an important step in ensuring equitable access to advanced surgical care in the region.” Guests of Honor who graced the event included Dr. Manish Bansal, M.S, Director General Health Services; Tarun Bhandari- Political Secretary to Chief Minister, Haryana ; Jai Kaushik, Municipal Counsellor, sector 15, Panchkula and Seema Chaudhary, EX-Mayor of Panchkula. Their presence underscored the collective commitment across government and civic leadership toward advancing healthcare access in the region. The Da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgical System is the most advanced platform for minimally invasive surgery available globally. Designed for enhanced precision, control, and 3D visualization, the system allows surgeons to perform complex procedures through smaller incisions, resulting in less blood loss, minimal scarring, reduced pain, and quicker recovery for patients.
