Special Awareness Programme Organised by Central Bureau of Communication at Manohar Memorial College, Fatehabad

Fatehabad 30 January ( PDL ) : The Regional Office of the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Hisar, under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, organised a special awareness programme at Manohar Memorial College, Fatehabad to create awareness about various flagship schemes of the Central Government. The programme aimed to sensitize students and the general public about Viksit Bharat–G Ram G, Ayushman Bharat Scheme, and the Swachh Bharat Mission, among others.

Vice-Principal, Dr. Meenakshi Kohli, Manohar Memorial College, Fatehabad, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Keeping in view the Swachhata Pakhwada, she administered the Swachhata Pledge to the participants and motivated them to actively contribute towards building a clean and healthy India. The programme was attended by Programme Officer, Viksit Bharat–G Ram G, Fatehabad, Shri Sandeep Kumar, as the Guest of Honour. He provided detailed information about the scheme and highlighted the initiatives undertaken by the Government for the development of rural areas.

Deputy Civil Surgeon, Health Department, Fatehabad, Dr. Lajvanti Gauri, elaborated on the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, describing it as an ambitious health initiative of the Government of India aimed at providing financial protection to poor and economically weaker families against high medical expenses arising from serious illnesses.

During the programme, the cultural team of the Central Bureau of Communication presented folk songs and dance performances, effectively conveying the importance and benefits of the government schemes. Various activities such as oral quiz, poster painting, and speech competitions were also organised. Prizes were awarded to the winning students as well as other participants as a mark of encouragement.

The programme witnessed active support from Professor, Prof. Pratibha Makheeja; Professor, Prof. Tarika Narang; Assistant Professor, Dr. Vikesh Shetty; Professor, Prof. Shruti; Professor, Prof. Vandana; and Assistant Professor, Dr. Bharti Sharma of Manohar Memorial College. The event was successfully executed under the guidance of Nodal Officer, Central Bureau of Communication, Hisar, Shri Neeraj Mahalawat, along with his team.
