BJP Strongly Condemns Vandalism of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar's Statue in Hoshiarpur; Demands Strict Action Against Culprits : Hardev Singh Ubha
Chandigarh 31 March ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Hardev Singh Ubha, State Press Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Punjab, has strongly condemned the incident involving the vandalism of the statue of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar in Hoshiarpur district. He stated that this incident is highly condemnable and reflects the poor state of law and order in Punjab. It is a failure of the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government that such incidents are continuously surfacing in the state.
He also stated that the situation has become so grave that even police stations are being attacked—a matter of extreme concern for the rule of law. Ubbha alleged that certain divisive forces based abroad are attempting to vitiate the atmosphere in Punjab and spread hatred, but the state government is proving ineffective in taking action against them.
He demanded that the culprits involved in this incident be immediately identified and subjected to the strictest possible legal action, so that no one dares to commit such a heinous act in the future. He stated that these conspiracies aimed at creating divisions within society will never be allowed to succeed. The BJP will continue to uphold peace, unity, and brotherhood under all circumstances. Finally, he appealed to all the people of Punjab to remain vigilant against such forces and to uphold mutual brotherhood, harmony, and unity.
