The leaders stated that in 2025, Verka Milkfed had floated tenders to provide hybrid maize seeds to farmers at a 30 percent subsidy. The tender was reportedly awarded to a Mansa-based firm, Nav-Durga Trading Company. It was alleged that the firm only submitted bills for the seeds, while no actual supply was made.
