The sangat sat in the pangat and ate the Langar Prasad of curry, rice and halwa. Speaking on the occasion, Rajveer Kaur Gill and Simrat Gill said, "Elections come and go, but our relationship is one of service. We have always stood by our ward in its joys and sorrows. Our ward is our family."
Simrat Gill said that her aim is not just to seek votes, but to connect with the people. She appealed, "You have given us the opportunity to serve before, now give us another opportunity to complete the remaining development works of the ward."
