Bunty Launches Toilet Renovation Project at Fragrance Garden, Sector 36
Chandigarh 23 May ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The renovation work on the old toilet block located within the Fragrance Garden in Sector 36 was formally inaugurated today by RWA President Paramjit Singh, who performed the traditional ritual of breaking a coconut. Present on this occasion were Area Councilor Jasbir Singh Bunty, officials from the concerned department, and prominent citizens of the locality. Addressing the gathering, Paramjit Singh noted that a large number of senior citizens, women, and other residents visit the garden daily for morning and evening walks. Due to the dilapidated condition of the toilets and long-pending repair work, visitors had been facing significant inconvenience. The commencement of this renovation work will now bring immense relief to the residents of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, XEN Ashwani Kumar announced that new granite flooring would be installed in the toilets, and all necessary repairs—including painting, polishing, and the installation of sanitary fittings and toilet seats—would be carried out. He assured the gathering that the work would be completed within the stipulated timeframe and to a high standard of quality, ensuring that the public receives improved amenities.Area Councilor Jasbir Singh Bunty reiterated his commitment to prioritizing the development of the locality and the convenience of its residents. He explained that this project was initiated in response to the specific demands of the senior citizens and other visitors who frequent the garden. He expressed confidence that, once renovated, the toilet facility would provide visitors with a clean, safe, and superior experience.
Those present at the event expressed their gratitude to the Municipal Corporation administration, the concerned officials, and Area Councilor Jasbir Singh Bunty. They remarked that a clean and well-maintained toilet facility would greatly benefit visitors to the garden while also serving to promote overall hygiene and sanitation.
