TB Awareness Activities Conducted Under TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan
Chandigarh 23 May ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Delhi Public School organised various awareness activities under the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan on May 22, 2026, to educate students about tuberculosis and to encourage collective responsibility towards building a TB-free India. The programme began with a special morning assembly during which students took a pledge to spread awareness about tuberculosis, eliminate stigma associated with the disease, and contribute actively towards a healthier nation. The message “TB Harega, Desh Jeetega” resonated strongly among the students and staff members.
A short awareness video on tuberculosis was also screened for students during the zero period. Teachers further engaged students in interactive discussions focusing on the symptoms, prevention, treatment, and importance of early diagnosis of TB. To promote creativity and awareness, a poster-making activity was organised for students. The participants prepared informative and thought-provoking posters carrying messages on cleanliness, healthy living, awareness, and the importance of eradicating tuberculosis from society.The activities were conducted successfully with enthusiastic participation from students and teachers, reinforcing the importance of awareness and community support in achieving the goal of a TB-Free Bharat.
