BRICS Chandigarh Chapter Poised for Major Growth After Historic Indore Declaration
Chandigarh 14 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Following India’s successful leadership in building consensus on the future of agriculture at the BRICS Agriculture Ministers’ Meeting and the adoption of the historic Indore Declaration, the Chandigarh chapter of the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BRICS CCI) is also gearing up for significant developments.
Deepak Shukla, Executive Director India, said that while the chapter is still in its early stages, it is expected to make headlines soon as important investment discussions are underway with the Haryana Government. He stated that the Indore Declaration has reinforced India’s leadership role in promoting sustainable agriculture, food security, innovation, and international cooperation among BRICS nations.
Shukla added that the Chandigarh chapter is actively working to facilitate business partnerships, trade opportunities, and investment initiatives that can benefit the region. He expressed confidence that ongoing discussions with Haryana authorities could open new avenues for economic cooperation, industrial growth, and foreign investment in the state.
