Reacting to Mann dismissing the Akal Takht edict on him, Warring said, while he (the Chief Minister) has every right to defend himself and present his point of view, he could have done it without resorting to such defiance that seeks to undermine the authority of the Akal Takht. “Such confrontation is avoidable”, he remarked. Chitkara University Startups Showcase Innovation at Microsoft and IIM Lucknow
Chandigarh/Punjab 16 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Demonstrating the growing strength of its entrepreneurial ecosystem, Chitkara University enabled its student startups to showcase their innovative ventures before industry leaders, investors, and academic experts through exclusive startup pitching engagements at Microsoft India and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow. As part of the Global Entrepreneurship & Innovation Program (GEIP) conducted by the Centre for Entrepreneurship Education & Development (CEED), 24 technology startups from Chitkara University were invited to present their ventures before the Startup & Investment Team at Microsoft's Gurugram office. The startups showcased innovative solutions across Artificial Intelligence, Agritech, HealthTech, Sustainability, Enterprise Technology, Fashion, and other emerging sectors.
The founders received valuable feedback from Microsoft's startup and investment experts on product-market fit, scalability, technology adoption, commercialisation strategies, and investment readiness, helping them refine their ventures for future growth and market success. In another significant milestone, selected startups from Chitkara University also presented their ventures at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow, engaging with faculty experts, startup mentors, and members of the innovation ecosystem. Several startups received strong appreciation for the quality of their innovation, clarity of vision, and market potential. To recognise their achievement, the participating startup founders were felicitated by Dr. Madhu Chitkara, President and Co-founder, Chitkara University, congratulated the students for representing the university on prestigious national platforms and encouraged them to continue pursuing innovation-led entrepreneurship with purpose and perseverance.
