Nagar 16 July (Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal): The committee meeting of Gurdwara Baba Jiwan Singh (Bhai Jaita) G Phase 3A, Sector 53A Mohali was held on 06-07-2026, in which a resolution was unanimously passed that the election of the next committee of the committee should be held on 09-08-2026. So as per the decision taken in the meeting, a general meeting has been called at Gurdwara Sahib on 09-08-2026 at 11:00 am, in which the election of the management committee will be held. The nomination form for the election of the office bearers of the committee can be submitted to the Finance Secretary along with Rs. 10000/- from 01-08-2026 to 03-08-2026 till 5-00 PM, and the date for withdrawal of nomination form is 04 and 05-08-2026 till 5-00 PM. Congress' pro-people policies called the basis of development
S.A.S.Nagar 29 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Mahila Congress is also playing an active role in Punjab with the aim of reaching the people with the pro-people policies of the Congress. After being appointed as the Secretary of Mohali District Mahila Congress, Madam Rajni Dixit said that the aim of the Congress is to empower every section of the society, especially women, youth and needy families.
Rajni Dixit said that the Congress has always given priority to issues like education, health, employment, women's safety and social justice. She said that the participation of women is very important for the development of Punjab and the Mahila Congress is continuously working to connect with the people at the grassroots level and convey their problems to the party leadership.
During a special meeting at Mohali Press Club today, Rajni Dixit thanked the Mohali Press Club. She said that journalists are strong pillars of society and democracy and they have an important role in bringing public interest issues to the people in an impartial manner. She appreciated the contribution being made by journalists to the society and also extended her best wishes to all the members of the Press Club.
She appealed to the party workers to take the Congress policies and public interest message to every door and work together to solve the problems of the people. She expressed confidence that with the cooperation of the people and the strengthening of the organization, the development of Punjab will get a new direction.
