Inauguration of open gyms and children's play equipment in the parks of Sectors 36A and 36D:

Chandigarh 27 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : An inauguration ceremony was held for the open gyms and children's play equipment installed by the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation in Sector-36A and Sector-36D. The event was inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony performed by Bhag Singh, the revered father of the area's Councillor and former Senior Deputy Mayor, Jasbir Singh Bunty. Under the program, an open gym and children's play equipment installed near House No. 206 in Sector-36A were inaugurated. Along with this, the open gym installed in the park near House No. 1544 in Sector-36D and the children's play equipment set up opposite House No. 1574 were also inaugurated.
On this occasion, a tree plantation drive was launched with the aim of making the area greener and cleaner. Additionally, a special cleanliness awareness campaign was conducted by the Municipal Corporation's MOH (Health) Department, aimed at raising awareness among the public about maintaining cleanliness, proper waste disposal, and environmental conservation. During the event, Dinesh Kapila, President of RWA Sector-36D, also launched his book, "The Various Hues of Life – A Collection of Thoughts and Insights."
Local residents present on the occasion appreciated the development work carried out in the area, noting that thanks to the continuous efforts of Councilor Jasbir Singh Bunty, Sector-36 has become cleaner, more beautiful, greener, and better equipped with amenities than before. Expressing gratitude to the councilor for these public welfare initiatives, he expressed the hope that such development work would continue in the future as well. Major General C.S.
