Patiala/Chandigarh 11 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The meeting of the Forest Workers Union Punjab with the Honorable Mr. Lal Chand Kataruchak, the Forest Minister of Punjab on 6 July brought fruit, on 13 July, the Chief Minister will give appointment letters to 516 raw workers of the Forest Department at Vikas Bhawan Mohali. Issuing a statement to the press, State President Amrik Singh Garsankar State Secretary Jaswinder Singh Sauja said that in this meeting, where the high officials of the Forest Department, President Chief Forester Mr. Dharminder Sharma, Additional Chief Forester Mr. Churchill Kumar, Additional Chief Forester Mr. Sorav Gupta and Superintendent Inderjit Singh and the administrative staff met at Van Bhawan Mohali.
Jasvir Singh Sira, Amandeep Singh Chhat, Balvir Singh Tarn Taran, Ranjit Gurdaspur, Ravi Kant Ropar and Satnam Sangrur said that for the last 30/30 years, the previous governments have kept the workers in the delivery department in the lurch and not a single worker has been fixed. The Aam Aadmi government formed as a change in Punjab has given hope to the forest workers, and the continuous struggles of the forest workers union are being seen to be paying off and great enthusiasm is being found among the forest workers. On this occasion, besides others, Ravi Ludhiana, Babbu Mansa, Malkit Muktsar, Keval Garshankar, Sulakhan Singh Mohali, etc. were present.
