OBC employee representatives from across the country will gather for the SBI Backward Classes Employees Welfare Association conference, which will be held at Tagore Theatre on July 11.Chandigarh 5 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The second triennial general meeting and convention of the State Bank of India Backward Classes Employees Welfare Association (Chandigarh Circle) will be held on July 11 (Saturday) at the Tagore Theatre, Sector 18, Chandigarh. Representatives of backward class employees from various public sector undertakings and institutions, including the State Bank of India, from across the country will participate in the convention.
The chief guest of the event will be Member of Parliament Ganesh Singh, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on OBC Welfare. Rajya Sabha MP K. Laxman and Chief General Manager of State Bank of India, Local Head Office, Chandigarh, Amresh Kumar Jha will be the special guests.
Union President Ashish Kumar and General Secretary Mukesh Kumar Saini stated that the program will begin with a flag hoisting ceremony at 9:45 a.m. This will be followed by cultural presentations, lamp lighting, tributes to social reformers, guest addresses, and honors for outstanding employees. The afternoon business session of the General Assembly will discuss employee welfare, organizational activities, and future action plans. They expressed confidence that this conference will provide new strength to social harmony, employee interests, and organizational unity.
