Chandigarh 19 August ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Today is World Photography Day. To mark the occasion, the Chandigarh Photographers Association (CPA) organized its annual blood donation camp in collaboration with the Sukh Foundation. The camp was presided over by CPA Chairman JPS Garcha in the presence of President Saroj Chauhan and General Secretary Sunil Bhatt.
Amit Diwan, founder of the Sukh Foundation, shared this information, stating that a large number of CPA members and city residents voluntarily donated blood for this charitable cause. The Health Department and the Sukh Foundation's medical team collected blood at the camp. 74 photographers donated blood at the camp. The special thing about this blood donation camp was that Inder Verma, who has been associated with the profession of photography for many years, donated blood for the 77th time. CPA honoured all the blood donors by giving them certificates.
Chairman JPS Garcha said on this occasion that, along with photography, social service is also a key objective of CPA. Blood donation is a great donation, and such events will continue to be organized. All CPA officials and members were present at the event, and World Photography Day was celebrated with a cake cutting ceremony. Media Advisor Ajay Kumar stated that all photographers participated enthusiastically.
