Reacting to the proposed ‘yatra’ of the BJP against drugs in Punjab, Warring said, it is indeed a fact that the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab has not only failed to curb the drugs, but has added to the problem. Alleged Counterfeit Supreme Industries Sanitary Pipes and Fittings Seized in Panchkula Raid
Panchkula 5 August ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : A raid was conducted on Wednesday at Plot No. 30, Shivganga Industries, Phase II, Panchkula, in connection with an alleged trademark infringement involving sanitary pipes and fittings bearing the Supreme Industries brand. The operation was carried out under the supervision of a Local Commissioner, in the presence of company representatives, following credible information received by the authorities. During the raid, a large quantity of alleged counterfeit Supreme-branded pipes and fittings was recovered and seized. The confiscated material has been secured as evidence for further legal proceedings.
Company officials said such inspections and enforcement actions are undertaken periodically to safeguard consumer interests and protect the integrity of the brand. They added that counterfeit products not only cause financial losses to customers but may also raise concerns regarding quality, durability and safety. Further investigation and legal proceedings in the matter will continue in accordance with the directions of the competent court.
