Democratic Kisan Sabha will participate fully in the march being held in Chandigarh
Chandigarh 31 August ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The state meeting of Democratic Kisan Sabha Punjab which was held at Sector 20 Comrade Bhag Singh Sajjan Bhawan Chandigarh under the chairmanship of Dr. Satnam Singh Ajnala in which it was decided that Democratic Kisan Sabha will participate fully in the march being held in Chandigarh from 1st September by the United Kisan Morcha for the rightful demands of Punjab and farmers. Addressing the meeting of the society, State President of Democratic Kisan Sabha Punjab Dr. Satnam Singh Ajnala said that the Democratic Kisan Sabha Punjab will fully participate in the continuous front being launched by the United Kisan Morcha in Chandigarh from September 1 to September 7 to meet the main demands of the farmers, namely, cancellation of the India-US Free Trade Agreement, prevention of pollution of groundwater and river waters and conservation of water, restoration of Punjab's rights over water, creation of agricultural diversification, opposition to forced occupation of farmers' lands on roads and through lead pooling policy, waiver of all loans of laborers and farmers and achievement of the demands of other farmers and laborers.
He said that the duties have been distributed in this regard. All the preparations are being finalized. On this occasion, the General Secretary of the Sabha, Kulwant Singh Sandhu, said that no stone will be left unturned by the Democratic Kisan Sabha. He said that preparations have been intensified by forming committees for this front. He said that this front will further increase the power of the farmers. State Press Secretary Harnek Singh Gujjarwal and Darsan Belu Majra said that there is great enthusiasm among the people for the front. This front is getting full support from the villages. On this occasion, besides others, Mohan Singh Dhamana, Harpreet Singh Butari, Resham Singh Fellow, Varinder Jeet Singh Puri, Manohar Singh Gill, Santokh Singh Bilga, Major Singh Khurla Pur, Mukhtiar Singh Malla, Manjit Singh Baggu, Malkit Singh Niyal, Harbhajan Singh, Harjit Singh Kahlo, Sukhminder Singh Dhaliwal, Amrik Singh Mansa, Ram Singh Kemwala etc. were present.
