Nirankari Mission Spreads the Message of Brotherhood and Mutual Harmony through Blood Donation Camp
308 Nirankari Devotees Donate Blood Voluntarily
S.A.S.Nagar 9 August ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : With the objective of serving humanity, Sant Nirankari Mission, through Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, organized a blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Phase-6, Mohali, under the aegis of Phase-6 Branch. A total of 308 Nirankari devotees enthusiastically participated in the camp and voluntarily donated blood, conveying the message of selfless service to humanity. The blood donation camp was jointly inaugurated by Central Knowledge Pracharak Inderjit Sharma, who came from Delhi, and Chandigarh Zone Zonal In-charge O. P. Nirankari, in the presence of Mukhi Mahatmas of Phase-6 Mohali and TDI, along with the Regional Sanchalak of Chandigarh area.
On the occasion, O. P. Nirankari, Zonal In-charge of Chandigarh Zone, encouraged the blood donors and said that Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj has described blood donation as an important means of serving humanity. There is no substitute for human blood. Blood donation is not merely a social responsibility but a noble service that contributes towards saving the life of a person in need. Every healthy and eligible person should participate in such service activities according to their capacity. He informed that more than 9,000 blood donation camps have so far been organized by Sant Nirankari Mission, in which approximately 1.5 million units of blood have been donated.
Central Gyan Pracharak Inderjit Sharma, who came from Delhi, said that the blood donation camps organized by Sant Nirankari Mission from time to time help promote the spirit of human welfare. Through such initiatives, the message of selfless service, human unity, compassion, brotherhood and mutual harmony is being spread in society. Highlighting the importance of blood donation, he recalled the inspiring words of Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj — “Blood should flow in the veins, not in the drains.” He urged everyone to adopt this message in their lives and strengthen the Satguru’s message of oneness. He said that blood donation reflects love, compassion and a spirit of service towards humanity. Through blood donation, we can bring a new ray of hope into the life of a person in need.On the occasion, Mohali Branch In-charge Gulshan Luthra expressed his gratitude to Pracharak Inderjit Sharma, Zonal In-charge O. P. Nirankari, the teams of doctors from PGI Chandigarh and Civil Hospital Phase-6, the blood donors, devotees who came from various branches, and other dignitaries for their presence and valuable cooperation in the blood donation camp.
