Chandigarh 17 August ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : On the auspicious occasion of Nag Panchami and the third Monday of the month of Sawan, a langar of kheer, malpua, and potato curry was organized in front of Parshuram Bhawan in Sector 37. This langar offering was organized by Praveen Sharma Titu, a devoted devotee of Lord Shiva and social worker, and his family. Before the langar prasad distribution, Praveen Sharma Titu and his family performed puja and offered the prasad to Lord Shiva, which was then distributed among the devotees.
Chandigarh Congress President Harmohinder Singh Lucky was also present on the occasion and participated in the langar distribution. People also accepted the langar prasad with reverence and chanted "Har Har Mahadev." On this occasion, family members Mrs. Sangeeta Sharma, Pravesh Kurl, Shreya Ahluwalia, Sameer Gupta, Deepti Sharma, Congress leader Achhe Lal and Victor Sidhu along with Venkatesan also contributed in the langar service.
Social worker Praveen Sharma Titu informed that the holy month of Sawan is going on. Today, on the third Monday, Nag Panchami also coincides. On this auspicious occasion, langar prasad was organized for the devotees of the Lord. Today, with devotion, langar and prasad of Kheer-Malpua and potato vegetable were distributed, which is a traditional and popular prasad of the month of Sawan.
