Reserve Bank of India organises annual cultural evening to honor services of ITBP security personnel

Chandigarh 12 September ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : An annual cultural evening was organized by the Reserve Bank of India, Chandigarh on Friday with the aim of honoring and appreciating the services of the security personnel of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) deployed for security of its premises. The program was presided over by Vivek Srivastava, Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, States of Haryana, Punjab and the Union Territory of Chandigarh.

Ashwani Kumar Dogra, Inspector General, Western Command, ITBP was present as the Chief Guest at the event. The program was graced by senior officers of RBI, ITBP, Sanjay Kumar, Regional Director, Bureau of Civil Aviation Security and Protocol officers from states of Punjab,  Haryana and UT Chandigarh. In his address, Regional Director, Vivek Srivastava commended the ITBP personnel for keeping the country's borders secure in difficult and challenging conditions. He expressed that it is the responsibility of each and every citizen to respect the security personnel deployed for the security of the Nation. 

Various musical and cultural performances filled the atmosphere with enthusiasm and gaiety during the evening. This special evening organized for ITBP personnel further strengthened the spirit of mutual harmony, respect and cooperation. The program ended with a vote of thanks to the officers and security personnel of ITBP for their dedication, courage, and service to the nation.
