Special Meeting Held with Students and Parents of Nirankari Institute of Music and Art
Emphasis Laid on Nurturing Talent through Music and Art
Chandigarh 5 September ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : A special meeting was organized with the students undergoing training at the Nirankari Institute of Music and Art, run by the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, and their parents at the Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Sector 30-A, Chandigarh. Chandigarh Branch Sanyojak Navneet Pathak informed that the institute is affiliated with Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh, and the three-year course offered by the institute is recognized as equivalent to a graduation degree. Anyone interested in learning music or pursuing a degree in music can enroll in the institute. The objective of the institute is to nurture the talent of students interested in music and art and provide them with proper guidance and a suitable platform. Along with music, training is provided in various disciplines including vocal music, harmonium, tabla and guitar. The institute has experienced and trained music teachers.
During the meeting, discussions were held on the students’ training, regular practice, discipline and progress. The students were encouraged to continuously hone their skills through regular practice, dedication and commitment. Pathak emphasized to the parents that it is essential to recognize the talents of children and provide them with proper guidance and encouragement. Music and art play an important role in developing creativity, self-confidence, concentration and positive thinking among children.
On the occasion, the students shared their experiences and suggestions, while the parents appreciated the efforts being made by the institute and assured their continued cooperation. The institute, being operated as per the directions of Satguru Mata Sudeeksha Ji Maharaj, aims to provide quality training to students, channel their creative talents in a positive direction, and develop human values such as discipline, dedication and a spirit of service in them. At the conclusion, Sanchalak Sanjay Verma expressed gratitude to all the students and parents and conveyed his best wishes for their bright future.
