Warring condemns police brutality against *MGNREGA employees* in Khanna Says, Mann has turned Punjab into police state Chandigarh 15 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring today condemned the brutal police barbarity against the MGNREGA employees in Khanna who were demanding the payment of their pending wages. “Bhagwant Mann has turned Punjab into a police state”, he remarked, while noting that instead of listening to the problems and demands of the needy, he has been using brute police force against them. Moreover, he pointed out, the workers were not only staging a peaceful sit-in dharna, but were also chanting ‘Satnam Wahe Guru’ and still the police resorted to such brutality. Lathi charge on MNREGA employees is highly condemnable. *People's struggles cannot be suppressed with lathi-charge Patiala/Chandigarh 15 July ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The MNREGA employees, who are struggling to get their services merged with the Rural Development and Panchayat Department and get their arrears of 6 to 8 months paid, staged a protest in front of the residence of Panchayat Minister Tarunpreet Singh Saund here today. The police administration had already been informed in writing. The MNREGA Employees Union had already informed the media and Senior Superintendent of Police Madam Darpan Ahluwalia about the protest. ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਪੱਤਣ ਸਮਾਰਕ ਲਈ ਐਨਆਰਆਈ ਆਏ ਅੱਗੇ, ਇੰਡਸ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਫਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ 1 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 15 ਜੁਲਾਈ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹਰੀਕੇ ਪੱਤਣ ਵਿਖੇ ਭਾਈ ਜਸਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਖਾਲੜਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਤਵਾਦ ਦੇ ਦੌਰ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹਿੰਸਾ, ਲਾਪਤਾ ਹੋਏ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੀੜਤ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਇੰਡਸ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਫਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ (ਆਈਸੀਐੱਫ) ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਤਾਵਿਤ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਪੱਤਣ ਸਮਾਰਕ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਲਈ ਰੁਪਏ ਕਰੋੜ ਦੇ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਆਈਸੀਐੱਫ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਿਕਰਮ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੜਗੱਜ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਲਾਨੇ ਗਏ ਸਾਰੇ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰੀਕੇ ਪੱਤਣ ਨੂੰ "ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਪੱਤਣ" ਦਾ ਦਰਜਾ ਦੇਣਾ, ਉੱਥੇ ਸਥਾਈ ਸਮਾਰਕ ਦੀ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਲ 1982 ਤੋਂ 1995 ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਮੰਨੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ, ਲਾਪਤਾ ਹੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਕਥਿਤ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ "ਲਾਵਾਰਿਸ" ਦੱਸ ਕੇ ਸਸਕਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੈ। ਵਿਕਰਮ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਨੇ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਇੰਡਸ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਫਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਇਸ ਸਮਾਰਕ ਲਈ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਪੱਧਰ 'ਤੇ ਫੰਡ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਤਹਿਤ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ, ਕੈਨੇਡਾ, ਬ੍ਰਿ...
