The protest was led by senior Congress leader and former Health Minister S. Balbir Singh Sidhu. On the occasion, Balbir Singh Sidhu said that the issue of drugs in Punjab cannot be confined merely to government advertisements, slogans and political campaigns. ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ 25% ਝੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਖਰੀਦ ਦਾ ਕੋਟਾ ਘਟਾਉਣਾ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਧੋਖਾ : ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 23 ਸਤੰਬਰ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਕ੍ਰਾਂਤੀਕਾਰੀ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ, ਦੇ ਸੂਬਾ ਜਨਰਲ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਬਿਆਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਦਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਖਰੀਦ ਏਜੰਸੀਆਂ (ਮਾਰਕਫੈੱਡ, ਪਨਸਪ, ਪਨਗਰੇਨ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵੇਅਰਹਾਊਸ) ਨੇ ਫਾਜ਼ਿਲਕਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਆੜ੍ਹਤੀਆ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਮੌਖਿਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਸੂਚਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਝੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਖਰੀਦ ਦਾ ਕੋਟਾ 25% ਘਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜਿੱਥੇ 100% ਝੋਨਾ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਏਜੰਸੀਆਂ MSP 'ਤੇ ਖਰੀਦਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਹੁਣ ਸਿਰਫ 75% ਹੀ ਖਰੀਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਬਾਕੀ 25% ਝੋਨਾ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਜਬੂਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਈਵੇਟ ਵਪਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ MSP (2389 ਰੁਪਏ) ਤੋਂ 400-500 ਰੁਪਏ ਘੱਟ 'ਤੇ ਵੇਚਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਫਾਜ਼ਿਲਕਾ ਦੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਟਰਾਲੀ 10,000 ਰੁਪਏ ਤੱਕ ਦਾ ਘਾਟਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ। ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਦੀ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਸਰਕਾਰ ਕਹਿ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਗੋਦਾਮਾਂ 'ਚ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਖਮਿਆਜ਼ਾ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਕਿਉਂ ਭੁਗਤੇ? ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਦਾ 105 ਲੱਖ ਟਨ ਚੌਲ ਹਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਗੋਦਾਮਾਂ 'ਚ ਸੜ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਨਲਾਇਕੀ ਹੈ। ਝੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਸਟੋਰ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਗਦਾਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕਰੇ। ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਗੂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ...
