Warring seeks Shah’s intervention over Punjab first-time voters turned away during SIR Writes to HM to certify citizenship of first-time voters Chandigarh 29 September ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Punjab Congress president and Ludhiana MP Amarinder Singh Raja Warring on Tuesday wrote to Union Home Minister Amit Shah raising the issue of first-time voters from Punjab who were turned away while seeking enrolment during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Warring said the young men and women from various Assembly constituencies across Punjab, who had turned 18 and sought registration as voters through Form 6, were instead asked to establish the electoral-roll status of their parents or grandparents during the last intensive revision held more than two decades ago. Nexus Elante and Access Life Join Hands to Raise Childhood Cancer Awareness Chandigarh 29 September ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Nexus Elante, in a meaningful initiative to raise awareness around childhood cancer and show solidarity with children undergoing treatment, in collaboration with Access Life Assistance Foundation, illuminated its iconic “I Love Chandigarh” landmark in the mall  in gold. Held as part of International Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, observed every September, the initiative used the symbolic golden illumination to spread a message of hope, strength and support for children battling cancer and their families. The initiative also brought together children undergoing treatment, their parents, Access Life volunteers, caregivers and students at Nexus Elante. ਨੇਕਸਸ ਐਲਾਂਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਐਕਸੈਸ ਲਾਈਫ ਨੇ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਬਚਪਨ ਦੇ ਕੈਂਸਰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਵਧਾਈ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 29 ਸਤੰਬਰ ( ਰਣਜੀਤ ਧਾਲੀਵਾਲ ) : ਬਚਪਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੈਂਸਰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਇਲਾਜ ਕਰਵਾ ਰਹੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਦਰਸਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਨੇਕਸਸ ਐਲਾਂਤੇ ਨੇ ਐਕਸੈਸ ਲਾਈਫ ਅਸਿਸਟੈਂਸ ਫਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਪਹਿਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮਾਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ “ਆਈ ਲਵ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ” ਲੈਂਡਮਾਰਕ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਨਹਿਰੀ ਰੰਗ ਦੀ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਪਹਿਲ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਬਾਲ ਕੈਂਸਰ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ, ਜੋ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਸਤੰਬਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸੁਨਹਿਰੀ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕੈਂਸਰ ਨਾਲ ਜੂਝ ਰਹੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਉਮੀਦ, ਹਿੰਮਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਪਹਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਲਾਜ ਕਰਵਾ ਰਹੇ ਬੱਚੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ, ਐਕਸੈਸ ਲਾਈਫ ਦੇ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰ, ਦੇਖਭਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਨੇਕਸਸ ਐਲਾਂਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ। ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਕਾਰਜਕ੍ਰਮ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਵੀ ਸੀ। ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ-ਦੂਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਾਂ ਬਿਤਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਨਿਯਮਿਤ ਇਲਾਜ ਦੀ ਦਿਨਚਰਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਸਮਾਂ ਦੂਰ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਲਿਆ। ਇਸ ਪਹਿਲ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਨੇਕਸਸ ਐਲਾਂਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਐਕ...
