ਉਨਟਾਰੀਓ 31 ਮਈ ( ਪੀ ਡੀ ਐਲ ) : ਉਨਟਾਰੀਓ ਫਰੈਂਡ ਕਲੱਬ ਅਤੇ ਜਗਤ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਭਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ 28 ਜੂਨ 2026, ਐਤਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਬੈਂਕੁਐਟ ਹਾਲ ਵਿਖੇ ਫਾਦਰ ਡੇਅ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ 12ਵੀਂ ਵਰਲਡ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਿਆਰੀਆਂ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਸਰਦੂਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਥਿਆੜਾ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਹੇਠ ਹੋਈ। ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਦਾ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਅਜੈਬ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੱਠਾ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਫਾਦਰ ਡੇਅ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੇ ਦਸ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਪਿਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ, ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਕ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ 12ਵੀਂ ਵਰਲਡ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਿਆਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਸਥਾਰਪੂਰਵਕ ਜਾਇਜ਼ਾ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵਿਚਾਰ-ਵਟਾਂਦਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਫਾਦਰ ਡੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਰਲਡ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਸੁਝਾਅ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੇ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉੱਘੇ ਲੇਖਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਸੇਵੀ ਤਾਹਿਰ ਅਸਲਮ ਗੋਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਲੀਮਾ ਸਦੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ ਭੁਪਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਜਵਾ, ਓ.ਐਫ.ਸੀ. ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੰਤੋਖ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ, ਪਿਆਰਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਦੋਵਾਲ, ਗੁਰਚਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ, ਹੈਪੀ ਮਾਂਗਟ, ਰੁਪਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਸੰਧੂ, ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਚੱਠਾ, ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾ ਸੋਢੀ, ਤਰਲੋਕ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਾਹਲੋਂ, ਰਛਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੂਨਰ, ਤਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੀਮਾ, ਗੁਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੀਰਾ, ਗੁਰਵੇਲ ਸਿੰਘ, ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਸਾਹਿਬ, ਸਹਿਜ ਕੌਰ ਮਾਂਗਟ, ਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਮਾਂਗਟ, ਦਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਲੱਧੜ, ਅਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੱਲ, ਇਫ਼ਤਿਖਾਰ ਚੌਧਰੀ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਈ ਹੋਰ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।ਸਭ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਏਕਤਾ, ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਰਪਣ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਫਲ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਸੰਕਲਪ ਦੁਹਰਾਇਆ। ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਸਾਰਥਕ, ਉਸਾਰੂ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਰਹੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਫਾਦਰ ਡੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਅਤੇ 12ਵੀਂ ਵਰਲਡ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਿਆਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਵਾਂ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਮਿਲੀ।
