Menstrual Hygiene awareness talk for school students held
S.A.S.Nagar 30 May ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : An informative and interactive awareness session on Menstrual Hygiene Day for the girls of Classes IX and X. The session was conducted by the DPS School Counsellor, Richa Bhardwaj, with the aim of promoting awareness, healthy practices, and open conversations surrounding menstrual health and hygiene.The session focused on breaking myths and taboos associated with menstruation while educating students about the importance of maintaining personal hygiene, adopting healthy habits, proper nutrition, and understanding the physical and emotional changes experienced during menstrual cycles.
Emphasis was also laid on self-care, emotional well-being, and developing a positive and confident outlook towards menstrual health. DPS Mohali Students actively participated in the discussion and enthusiastically engaged in the interactive activities and question-answer session. The session created a safe and comfortable environment for students to express their concerns and seek guidance without hesitation.
