Ward No. 27 Residents Collectively Listened to the 134th Episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’
Chandigarh 31 May ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The 134th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popular monthly radio programme “Mann Ki Baat” was collectively heard and viewed by the residents of Ward No. 27 at the Community Centre, Sector-40, under the chairmanship of District President Rekha Sood. The gathering attentively listened to the Prime Minister’s inspiring thoughts and reaffirmed their commitment towards active participation in nation-building.
On the occasion, BJP Chandigarh President Jitender Pal Malhotra, State Incharge of Mann Ki Baat Programme Ramveer Bhatti, State Media Incharge Ravi Rawat, District Vice President Rajesh Dogra, Mandal President Amit Nagar, Mandal General Secretary Ravi Gupta, Pawan Dev Kashyap, other party office bearers, and a large number of local residents were present. During his address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the need to transform water conservation into a mass movement and called for collective efforts towards rainwater harvesting and the protection of natural resources. He also urged citizens to remain vigilant during the ongoing heatwave and extend support to those in need. Highlighting public participation, environmental conservation, and the spirit of service, he stated that these are the foundations of a Viksit Bharat.
The Prime Minister also highlighted the achievements of Indian athletes, especially young sprinters Gurindervir Singh and Animesh Kujur, for setting new national records in the 100-meter race. He said that such accomplishments inspire the youth of the nation to strive for excellence. He further praised individuals and organizations bringing positive change to society and described service, dedication, and public participation as essential pillars of nation-building. At the conclusion of the programme, attendees appreciated the Prime Minister’s message and resolved to contribute actively towards the vision of a developed India and the welfare of society.
