ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸ ਨੇ ਬਾਬਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ 'ਤੇ ਚਾਨਣਾ ਪਾਇਆ, ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਸਿੱਖ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਟੁੱਟ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ, ਦ੍ਰਿੜਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਵਉੱਚ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਬਾਬਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ 'ਤੇ ਅਮਿੱਟ ਛਾਪ ਛੱਡੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਲੈਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਦਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਬਾਬਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਦਿਵਸ (ਜੂਨ ਵਿੱਚ) 'ਤੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਦੁੱਤੀ ਬਹਾਦਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਨਤਕ ਥਾਵਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਛਬੀਲ (ਠੰਢਾ, ਮਿੱਠਾ ਪਾਣੀ) ਦੇ ਇਕੱਠ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਰਾਹਗੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਗਰਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਠੰਡਾ, ਮਿੱਠਾ ਪਾਣੀ, ਛਬੀਲ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਦ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
