Meeru 5 June ( PDL ) : After creating a buzz in Chandigarh with its unique “Karigaron Ki Baraat” theme, Karigari by Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi, the celebrated fine-dining brand known for its authentic North Indian cuisine, has marked its entry into Meerut with a grand “Raj Tilak Utsav.” The new outlet is Karigari’s 13th restaurant in India and its first in Meerut. The grand opening celebrated the spirit of India’s artisans, creators, sportspersons, artists, and visionaries, reflecting the brand’s core philosophy of honouring craftsmanship in all its forms. A day before the launch, Karigari hosted an exclusive evening titled “Sharbat-e-Shaam, Meerut Ke Naam”, where prominent entrepreneurs, social leaders, and distinguished citizens of the city experienced a preview of the restaurant’s unique concept.
Spread across nearly 3,000 square feet, the restaurant has been designed as a tribute to India’s craftsmen and creators. Its interiors showcase inspiring stories of sporting icons, artists, textile artisans, and other creative minds, while the specially curated Chef’s Coat Wall pays homage to culinary artisans and their contribution to the food industry. A major highlight of the launch was the grand curtain reveal, unveiling one of Meerut’s most distinctive dining destinations. The restaurant also features an elegantly designed Private Dining Room (PDR), offering an exclusive setting for family celebrations, corporate meetings, and special occasions.
Speaking on the occasion, celebrity chef and founder Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi said, “Karigari has always been about celebrating people who create something extraordinary through their skill and passion.
