Chandigarh Administrator Flags Off 25 New QRT Motorcycles and Quick Response Vehicles for Udaipur Police
Chandigarh 27 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria on Saturday flagged off 25 new Quick Response Team (QRT) motorcycles, a Quick Response Vehicle, and a Honda Elevate car for the Udaipur Police under the Honda India Foundation’s road safety initiative, ‘Sadak Sahayak: Surakshit Marg, Surakshit Jeevan’. The newly inducted fleet is aimed at strengthening the police force’s emergency response capabilities, enabling quicker action during road accidents, traffic management, and other emergency situations. Karan Gilhotra and Rajiv Taneja from Honda India Foundation were specially present at the event. Addressing the gathering, he said the initiative reflects Honda India Foundation’s commitment to enhancing road safety, supporting faster police response, and improving public safety through meaningful public-private partnerships.
