One-Day State Level Mega Training on Aadhaar Authentication Ecosystem Held at Panjab University, Chandigarh
Chandigarh 22 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), Regional Office Chandigarh, organized a One-Day State Level Training Programme on the Aadhaar Authentication Ecosystem at Rajiv Gandhi Conference Hall, Panjab University, Chandigarh on June 22, 2026. The training programme was inaugurated by Sonu Kumar Kothari, Director, UIDAI Regional Office Chandigarh. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 140 officials and representatives from various departments and organizations, including Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department Punjab, Food Civil Supplies Haryana, Excise Department Chandigarh, Zila Sainik Welfare Department Chandigarh, Health Department, SBI Card, Sarva Haryana Gramin Bank (SHGB), Punjab Gramin Bank (PGB), Capital Small Finance Bank, Airtel Payments Bank, India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) and other Aadhaar ecosystem stakeholders.
The training focused on enhancing awareness and understanding of Aadhaar Authentication Services, their applications, regulatory framework, security features, and best practices for effective implementation. Participants were sensitized about the role of Aadhaar Authentication in improving service delivery, transparency, and beneficiary verification across government schemes and citizen-centric services. During the programme, Ramanpreet Singh, Project Manager, UIDAI Chandigarh, and Kuldeep Sharma, Assistant Manager Compliance , UIDAI Chandigarh, interacted with the participants and addressed their queries regarding authentication processes and operational challenges. A live demonstration of Aadhaar Authentication services was also conducted, providing participants with practical exposure to the authentication workflow and its real-world applications.
The interactive session enabled participants to gain valuable insights into the Aadhaar Authentication Ecosystem and fostered greater collaboration among various departments utilizing Aadhaar services. UIDAI continues to conduct such capacity-building initiatives to strengthen the Aadhaar ecosystem and promote secure, efficient, and citizen-friendly service delivery.
