All Jathedars should seek guidance from him in their dedication to the Panthic stream.
Chandigarh 27 June ( Ranjeet Singh Dhaliwal ) : Former leader of the All India Sikh Students Federation, Dr. Bhagwan Singh and Engineer Sarabjit Singh Sohal, expressed satisfaction in a joint press statement that the Maharashtra government's decision to wisely suspend the ordinance repealing the 1956 Act and form a committee to consult with all stakeholders is a commendable step. The leaders said that the credit for this Panthic victory goes to Singh Sahib Jathedar Kulwant Singh and his Panj Pyares, who without any fear or hesitation immediately took a stand against this legal decision and not only rejected it but also gave a stern warning to the government that it would not be allowed to be implemented. Their clear stand against government intimidation exposed the government conspiracy, forcing the government to withdraw this law. The Jathedars of all the Takht Sahibs should definitely learn from them that if they take decisions for the advancement of the Panth with fearlessness and impartiality, then they will not have to beg the media for publicity.
Both leaders compared the Gurmat of Takht Sri Hazur Sahib with the Hukamnama of December 2 and said that it was also a similar decision filled with divine blessings, the people of whom would have known the hereafter. But there, dishonest people who used to accept everything and deny it are now seeking the throne with the help of fake and true videos. How surprising that those who called the December 2nd Hukamnama a conspiracy to assassinate him are now advising the Chief Minister to obey the orders of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and are talking about launching a Dharam Yudh Morcha to implement the Hukamnama. If Harjinder Singh Dhami and Sukhbir Singh Badal, while being the presidents of SGPC and Akali Dal, had accepted the December 2nd Hukamnami with submission like humble Sikhs, then there would have been no need to stage protests today to implement any other Hukamnami. But now, no matter how many fronts they take, people will never forgive them for their religious disobedience. At the end of the statement, both the leaders also thanked the Maharashtra government, which, while respecting the Sikh sentiments, changed its decision by taking the Gurmat of the Panj Pyares of Takht Sahib seriously.
